PRINCETON, N.J., May 30,--Several costly Princeton errors combined with a batting rampage on the part of the visiting team in the third, fourth, and fifth innings, sent the Tigers down to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Colgate this afternoon, 11 to 3.

The Orange and Black drew first blood in the opening inning, but Colgate, tied it up in the second and then clinched the game with eight runs in the next three innings.
