YALE CRUSHES AMHERST IN LOOSE GAME BY 25-4 SCORE

NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 2.--The Yale baseball team today defeated Amherst in a long and loosely played game by the score of 25 to 4. O'Hearn and De Sibour, playing first and third bases for Yale respectively, drove out home runs. Pond and Hickey pitched for the Blue team and Dann caught, while Leete, Parker, and Warner comprised Amherst's battery.

In a close game which was not decided until the tenth inning, the Yale Freshmen today took the measure of Dean Academy 3 to 2.
