Thomas and Gordon Win Trophies

Yesterday afternoon, in the second pair of races for the Garcelon hurdle trophies, Thomas came in first over the high timbers, while Gordon won the low event. Captain Allen of the Freshman team, who led Gordon up to the last flight, looked like a winner, but lost his stride and tripped over the final hurdle, taking a bad spill. K. P. Smith and Terhune, followed Gordon over the finish.
