Record Number of Votes Cast at Annual Meeting in Pierce Hall

In the election of officers of the Harvard Engineering Society, held yesterday in Pierce Hall, the number of votes cast was the largest on record. Weston Gage Thomas 3E.S. of Middletown, O., was chosen President for the coming year. The other officers are: Vice-President, Professor Harry Ellsworth Clifford, S.B., of Newton Centre; Secretary, David Douw Coffin 3E.S. of West Medford; Treasurer, Robert Brandt 3E.S. of Jamaica Plain; Senior Representative, Kenneth Rodney Bourn 3E.S. of Templeton; Junior Representative, Robert Douglas Donaldson Jr. 3E.S. of Lincoln; Sophomore Representative, Benjamin Brewster 1E.S. of Dedham.
