TIGER CUBS BAT HARD TO DOWN FRESHMEN BY 7-3

A second inning rally that brought in five runs gave the Princeton Freshman baseball team a 7 to 3 victory over the Crimson Saturday afternoon at Princeton field. After Moseley had walked three men and allowed two hits, he was replaced on the mound by Casto, who retired his opponents in summary fashion. Although the Crimson out fielded the Tigers, the nine was never able even to threaten its opponent's early lead. The first Crimson scoring came in the sixth, when a single by Todd and a double by Allen brought in two runs. The third tally crossed the plate in the seventh as the result of a long sacrifice fly to center field.

The game was featured by a long home run by Lewis, the Orange and Black's catcher. The ball landed well over the left fielder's head, and the runner easily reached home before Burton was able to make the throw in.
