TENNIS MEN ADD TIGER TO LIST OF VICTORIES

With some of the Princeton players showing excellent form while others were proportionately off color, the University tennis team defeated the Orange and Black 9-3 Saturday afternoon on the Divinity Courts. Four of the singles and two of the doubles matches went to the Crimson, while the three other points were lost after close matches.

W. W. Ingraham '25 quite outplayed J. E. Howard of Princeton, who was far from his best. Ingraham took the first set, 6-3, and after Howard had suffered a considerable relapse took the second 6-1.

Ingraham and Duane had trouble retaining their unbeaten doubles record this year, for they just won their first set, 7-5, lost the second 4-6, and finally won the match on the last set, 6-3.

The results of Saturday's matches are:

Singles.--W. W. Ingraham '25 defeated J. E. Howard (P), 6-3, 6-1; Captain Morris Duane '23 defeated Captain H. L. Taylor (P), 6-3, 7-5; R. G. Lewis (P) defeated G. C. Guild '23, 6-4, 6-4; K. S. Pfaffman '24 defeated F. T. Wood (P), 6-1, 6-2; Alden Briggs '25 defeated A. F. Loeb (P), 4-6, 6-2, 6-4; G. P. Dailey (P) defeated L. H. Bondi '25, 6-2, 7-9, 6-4.

Doubles.--Ingraham and Duane defeated Howard and Taylor, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3; Lewis and Loeb defeated Guild and Pfaffman, 6-4, 6-4; Briggs and W. P. Dixon '25 defeated Woods and Dailey, 6-4, 2-6, 7-5.
