Experiences No Difficulty Taking Match in Straight Sets 7-0

The 1926 tennis team had no trouble shutting out the inexperienced Tufts Freshman team 7-0. The Crimson men all won in straight sets.

The matches played Saturday resulted as follows:

Singles.--W. T. Smith defeated Dowson (T), 6-4, 6-1; G. H. Perkins defeated Nichols (T), 6-1, 6-4; Captain G. D. Debevoise defeated Banks (T), 6-2, 6-4; Bernard Bandler defeated Pickens (T), 6-0, 6-4.

Doubles.--Smith and Debevoise defeated Dowson and Nichols, 6-0, 7-5; Perkins and A. R. Allen defeated Banks and Pickens, 6-0, 6-2; Shapiro and Wood defeated Haney and Oongdon, 6-0, 6-1.
