At the Iowa Club dinner which will be held at 6 o'clock tonight at the Colonial Club, Professor O. M. W. Sprague '04 of the Business School will speak on "What is the Financial Situation in the Middle West?" Professor Sprague was given the degree of Master of Arts by the University in 1895 and Doctor of Philosophy in 1897. He has taught Economics and Banking in the University since 1900, except for a few years which he spent as a professor in the imperial University of Tokyo. He is also known as the author of "History of Crises Under the National Banking System," and "Theory and History of Banking".

Tickets for the dinner, which will be open to members of the University, may be obtained from R. H. Chrisman '28 at 9 Thayer Hall.
