The last of a series of lectures given by the Department of Physics will be delivered this evening at 8 o'clock in the large lecture room of the Jefferson. Physical Laboratory by Professor E. L. Chaffee, S.B., Ph.D., who is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He will illustrate by experiments his discussion, which will be on "Electron Tubes; Amplifiers, Detectors, and Oscillators". This lecture will be open to the public, although it is intended primarily for teachers and members of the University.
