RAIN DAMRENS ARDOR OF 1926 AND CLASS GIVES ONLY $90.68

The small donation of the Class of 1926 to the Seniors yesterday, falling short as it did by $200 of last year's Freshman contribution, may be partially explained by the rain, which towards the close of the ceremony was falling in torrents sufficient to quench the ardor of the most munificent giver.

Some opinion as to the generosity of the class may be formed by the following contributions of more or less intrinsic value: $90.68 in checks, bills, and coins; 2 life savers, 8 1-2 peanuts, 1 Connecticut St. Railway transfer, 3 English pennies, and various German and Swiss pennies.

In the event of favorable weather, the Freshman class picture will be taken at 1.05 o'clock tomorrow.
