FLANNELS TO SUPPLANT TUXEDOS AT '26 JUBILEE

LOWE'S AND PEARL'S ORCHESTRAS WILL FURNISH MUSIC

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The final plans for the Freshman Jubilee were announced last night by N. S. Howe Jr. '26, chairman of the Jubilee Committee, after a meeting of the chairmen of the various special committees. Instead of Tuxedos, as had been previously planned, white flannels and blue or Tuxedo coats will be worn. The ushers, however, are to wear dinner jackets.

The party will commence at 6 o'clock, when the guests will be received by Mrs. Lowell and two other ladies. A cold dinner will be served immediately afterwards in the Smith Hall quadrangle, and the Hall choruses and the Freshman Glee and Instrumental Clubs will sing and play between the courses. For the dancing, which is to start at 8 o'clock, Bert Lowe's and Morey Pearl's orchestras have been obtained. From 11.30 to 12 o'clock, a buffet supper will be served, and the dance is to end at 2. The party will be entirely confined to the Smith quadrangle, and will be restricted to Freshmen.

Miss R. DeC. Ward, who has been appointed by Mrs. Lowell as University chaperone, will be assisted throughout the evening by four other ladies whose names have not yet been announced.

The last date on which the names of girls that are to be invited to the Jubilee can be handed in, has been set for May 12, and parties that wish tables for a larger number than six will be required to hand in their names to Howe at Standish C 23 before Tuesday, May 22.

The recently appointed committee in charge of sending out the invitations, is composed of W. T. Reed 3rd, chairman, J. W. Perkins, LeB. R. Barker, A. D. Phillips, and H. H. MacCubbin.
