CHINESE STUDENTS DOWN CRIMSON

Foreign Soccer Players Overcome the University in Informal Game

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a close informal game between University soccer players and the Chinese Students' team, the Crimson was downed 1 to 0 when the visitors' inside left shot a goal in the last few minutes of play.

The teams were very evenly matched although again the visiting team showed better coordination. In both periods, however, Coach Welch's eleven was by far the most aggressive, and it was due only to the good work of the Chinese Students' goal-guard that a victory for the Crimson was prevented.
