Crimson Nine to Face Stiffer Opposition In Second Contest

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although there are no comparative scores on which to base forecasts, it is probable that the Connecticut Agricultural College baseball nine which meets the University at 4 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field will present a much stiffer opposition than the Boston University team offered on Saturday. The Crimson line-up will remain the same except for the shortstop and mound positions. Jenkins was badly spiked in Saturday's contest and K. N. Hill will be allowed to rest.

The Connecticut Aggies have been practising for five weeks, having had one week of outdoor work-outs. Their team, which consists of eight veterans, was to have met Brown in the opening game of the season on Saturday, but the game was cancelled because of wet grounds.

The line-up will be as follows:

HARVARD  CONN. AGGIESClark, c.f.  3b., GanenThayer, l.f.  r.f., O'BrienGordon, r.f.  s.s., FitzgeraldF. S. Hill, s.s.  l.f., BrundaetOwen, 1b.  1b., MullaneHammond, 2b.  c., MeccilliBuell, 3b.  2b., AsterLarrabee, c.  c.f., MakosskiCordingly, p.  p., Lausche
