CAMPBELL PUTS FOOTBALL MEN THROUGH THEIR PACES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the third spring football practice of the season yesterday, a new system of conditioning exercises was innovated by Coach Campbell. All the backfield candidates were made to run in a circle, jump every third step, roll on the ground, hop, first on one foot and then on the other, walk holding onto their ankles, turn forward and backward somersaults, and finally, run at a quick pace, bent double with arms folded.

After these exercises, the teams lined up for the first signal practice of the season.
