At the New England Fencing Championship in the B. A. A. Saturday, C. J. Shearn '23 won the duelling swords title, while Burke Boyce 1G. placed second in the foils contest, which was won by Lieutenant Calnan, a former Navy foilsman who is now a student at M. I. T. Boyce and Calnan, and possibly shearn, will go to New York this week, where they will compete on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the national championship tournament which will be held in the Hotel Astor.
