NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Forty candidates for the Freshman tennis team were present last night at a meeting in Smith Halls Common Room, at which Captain Morris Duane '23 of the University team, and Mr. Harry Cowles, coach of the University team, spoke.

Two squads of University tennis players are now in training for the coming season. One team is playing round-robin tournaments at Longwood to find out who will make the Southern trip, which will start April 14. The other will practice in the Freshman gymnasium on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, until the outside courts are ready.
