The University baseball team will play its ninth contest of the season this afternoon when it meets the Massachusetts Agricultural nine on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock. Coach Slattery will start the team that played Bates on Wednesday with F. S. Hill still on third instead of Buell and with Gordon in left field. It has not been decided who will start on the mound but it will be either Hill, Spalding, or Cordingly. Spalding has not yet seen service and is about due for a tryout, and seems for this reason the best possibility for this afternoon.
