Professor William Duane '93 of the Medical School has been awarded the Comstock prize of $1,500 by the National Academy of Sciences for his investigations in radiant energy and X-ray.

The award will be presented by President C. D. Walcott at the annual dinner of the Academy next Tuesday. The prize is awarded once in five years for investigations in electricity, magnetism or radiant energy.
