GROUND ON SOLDIERS FIELD TOO HARD FOR FOOTBALL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The spring football practice, which originally was scheduled to begin last Monday, has again been postponed, this time until Wednesday. At first the delay was caused by the softness of the field, while at the middle of last week the extreme cold prevented the beginning of the workout. At present the ground is so hard that the coaches feel that it would be unwise to do any practicing. If the squad is able to get out Wednesday the work will continue only up to the vacation, but if another delay is caused, some time will probably be used after the close of the recess.
