The University lacrosse team will hold a practice game with the Boston Lacrosse Club at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon at Soldiers Field. This will be the last work-out before the team meets the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in the opening game of the spring trip on Tuesday. The Crimson defeated Pennsylvania last year 1-0 and this season the Blue and Red combination has shown unusual strength having defeated Cornell 6-1. A game with Rutgers at New Brunswick, N. Y., is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, while the final game of the trip will be played on Saturday, when the Crimson meets the Crescent Athletic Association in Brooklyn, N. Y. This team will have played two games at least by that date, since it has already defeated Princeton 4-3, and will play the national champions, Syracuse, tomorrow.
V. D. Fields '23, manager of the team, and A. H. Tally Jr. '24, assistant manager, will accompany the squad.
