The entries for the annual University boxing tournament to be held on March 21 will close on Wednesday. March 14. Dr. D. C. Parmenter '13 will be in his office from 2.30 to 3.30 o'clock on Wednesday and Thursday, when the contestants will receive a physical examination. All men who have signed up for the tournament are to report to Dr. Parmenter at this time, whether they have already been examined or not, or they will not be allowed to enter the semi-finals.
Among the thirty odd men who have already signed the blue books at Leavitt and Peirce's, the Hemenway gymnasium, or the Freshman Athletic Building are two defending champions. H. J. Freedman '23, entered in both the 135 and 145-pound classes, won the 135 pound championship two years ago, but did not enter the tournament last year. R. LeB. Daggett '23 is the present champion of the 158 pound class
The preliminary trials will be held on Monday, March 19.
