Yale and Princeton have announced their spring baseball schedules, which will include 28 and 29 games respectively. A spring trip during the Easter vacation is also planned by both teams.
The Yale schedule contains 28 games exclusive of eight games to be played on the Easter trip in the South and one with the New Haven Eastern League team.
The following six new teams have been added this year: Colgate, West Virginia, Vermont, Dartmouth, Wesleyan, Tufts, and the Crescent Athletic Club. The annual game in Worcester with Holy Cross has been dropped because of conflicting dates.
The Yale schedule follows:
April 7.--Providence College.
April 11.--Columbia.
April 18.--Fordham.
April 19.--Vermont.
April 21.--Dartmouth.
April 25.--Wesleyan.
April 26.--Tufts.
April 28.--Pennsylvania.
May 2.--Amherst.
May 3.--West Virginia.
May 5.--Pennsylvania at Philadelphia.
May 9.--Brown.
May 10.--Boston College.
May 15.--Layfayette.
May 16.--Holy Cross.
May 19.--Brown at Providence.
May 23.--Colgate.
May 26.--Cornell at Ithaca.
May 30.--Georgetown.
June 2.--Princeton.
June 9.--Crescent A. C.
June 16.--Princeton at Princeton.
June 19.--Harvard.
June 20.--Harvard at Cambridge.
June 23.--Harvard or Princeton at New York (in case of a tie in either series).
June 26.--Princeton at New York (in case of a tie with both Princeton and Harvard).
A schedule of 29 games has been arranged for the Princeton baseball team. Nine of these will be out-of-town engagements, including those on a Southern trip in the Easter vacation, while two others are only in case of ties in the "Big Three" series.
Six new opponents will meet the Tiger nine this year. They are Villanova, Johns Hopkins, Vermont, Syracuse, Gettysburg, and Toronto. On the other hand five on last year's list, New York University, the Giants, Ursinus, Virginia, and Tufts, are dropped from the schedule.
