Gordon Leads Attack Scoring 19 Points in 36-18 Victory--Rudofsky Plays Sterling Game at Guard--Crimson Holds Early Lead Throughout

By means of effective passing and Captain Gordon's ability to score from all quarters of the court, the University basketball team was able to defeat Brown at Providence last night by the score of 36-18. The University seized the lead at the opening of the game and never relinquished it; the first half ending with the score standing 23-9.

Captain Gordon was the outstanding player of the game, although Rudofsky played an excellent game defensively. Gordon finished the game with seven field goals to his credit and also shot the fouls for the University, caging five out of nine free throws. Samborski scored three baskets while Lowenthal and Miller each tallied twice. Tuckerman starred for Brown, both on the defense and offense.
