NEW YORK CITY, Mar. 4, 1923. In a closely contested meet in Carnegie Hall last night, Dartmouth won first place with 269 points in the annual intercollegiate glee club contest. Princeton and Yale followed with 265 and 260 points respectively
The Harvard Glee Club, singing Morley's "Fire, Fire, My Heart" and "Up the Street" in addition to the prize song. Mendelssohn's "Hunter's Farewell", placed tenth, thus losing the cup offered for the first time last year by the University Glee Club of New York City.
