TO PLAY ONLY WORKS OF CESAR FRANCK AND BEETHOVEN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The last of a series of five positions of chamber music held during the past few months under the direction of Mr. Arthur Whiting, will be given at 8.15 o'clock this evening in the Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building on Kirkland Street. As has been the case in the previous expositions, the concert will be open free of charge to all members of the University, for whom the floor of the hall will be reserved. Tickets for seats in the gallery may be obtained by the public at $1.00 each, at Amee Brothers' Book Store, Brattle Square.

In tonight's program, Mr. Whiting at the pianoforte will have a larger number of assistants than has been true of any of the previous concerts of the season. The program, consisting exclusively of selections of the works of Beethoven and Cesar Franck, will be rendered by Mr. Whiting and the Lenox string quartet, consisting of Mr. Sandor Harmati, first violin, Mr. Wolfe Wolfinsohn, second violin, Mr. Nicholas Moldavan, viola, and Mr. Emmeren Stoeber, violoncello.

The complete program follows:

Beethoven:

Quartet, A major

I Allegro

II Menuetto

III Andante cantabile

IV Allegro

Cesar Franck:

Quintet, F minor

I Molto moderato--Allegro

II Lento, con molto sentimento

III Allegro
