Fellowships for Service Workers

The New York School of Social Work has announced four fellowships of $1200 each to be awarded to recent college graduates, including the class of 1923, on the basis of a competitive examination. The prizes will be given on the satisfactory evidence of ability, personality, and adaptability for social work.

The school offers courses in the fields of Family Case Work, Child Welfare, Hospital Social Work, Mental Hygiene, Community Organization, Industry, Criminology, and Social Research. With a record of 25 years, the school is the oldest training institution for social workers in the United States.

Applications for the fellowships must be handed in by April 21 to the secretary, 105 East 22nd Street, New York City, from whom further information may be obtained.
