The match between the University team B and the team B of the Lincoln's Inn Society which was to be played today was partly finished yesterday. Four matches were played out of the five, of which the Lincoln's Inn won three and the University one, making the Lincoln's Inn sure of the match. This defeat removes any chance of the University winning the Class B championship.
R. P. Rose '25, number two, playing his first match since his recent injury, lost to D. W. Gilmore 3L. in a close match 15-10, 16-14, 14-16, 10-15, 15-9. W. B. Mcllvaine 2L won from R. C. Bostwick '23 15-13, 15-10, 12-15, 15-11. Displaying some of the best squash that he has shown this season, E. M. Upjohn '24 won the only match of the afternoon for Team B when he defeated D. P. Kingsley 2L. 16-14, 12-15, 15-11, 15-10. E. K. Davis '24, at number five, after some close games lost to G. W. Helm 2L. 15-12, 17-16, 16-17, 15-10. The match between J. J. Glessner '25 and M. E. Gibson 3L. will be played this afternoon at 5 o'clock in Court 14 at the University Squash Racquets Court.
