This afternoon the University basketball players will journey to New Haven to test their, strength against the powerful Yale quintet, which is tied with Cornell for first place in the Intercollegiate Basketball League. Although Yale won but two League games last year, she has this year been defeated only by Columbia. Among her long string of victories are those over Princeton, last year's League champion, Dartmouth, the conqueror of the University aggregation, Cornell, Brown, Trinity, and several others.

The mainstays of the Blue team will be the forwards, Pite and Suisman, while Gordon and Lowenthal are counted on to cage the majority of the points for the Crimson.

Although the University players have suffered several defeats this season, their playing has steadily improved, as was shown particularly in the game with Rhode Island last Tuesday.
