NEW HAVEN, CONN., Feb. 22.-Five hundred Yale graduates attended the tenth annual Alumni University Day exercises here today. President J. R. Angell spoke at the alumni luncheon on conditions in the University. In the afternoon the alumni watched a polo match between the Yale four and the British indoor polo team and boxing between Yale and Boston University. They also took part in a winter track carnival.
The main purpose of the Alumni University Day is to make it possible for the graduates to get in touch with the undergraduate attitude.
