1925 AND 1926 CRIMSON COMPETITIONS START AT 7

This evening at 7 o'clock three CRIMSON competition, two in the news department open to Sophomores and Freshmen respectively, and one in the photographic department open to Freshmen will start with a meeting in the Crimson Building where the work will be outlined. The 1925 competition will be the last opportunity that members of the Sophomore class will have for election to the news department. The competitions will last 11 weeks but will require no work during the spring recess.

The work of the news competition will consist of reporting the news of the University, securing interviews from prominent men who come to the University or Boston to speak, and in procuring special signed articles of general interest.

The competition in the photographic department will consist of taking pictures for the fortnightly pictorial and in some darkroom work. No experience is necessary but candidates should provide their own cameras.
