1926 BALL SEASON BEGINS

Meeting to be Held at 7.15 Tonight for All Candidates--Coach Davidson and Captain Owen to Speak

The Freshman baseball season will open at 7.15 o'clock this evening with a meeting of all candidates for the team in Smith Halls Common Room. Mr. C. B. Davidson, who coached the second nine three years ago will now have charge of the Freshmen and tonight will outline briefly the work of the coming season. George Owen Jr. '23, captain of the University nine will also speak.

Battery candidates will begin practice tomorrow in the cage while candidates for the other positions will not be called out until March 5.
