THIRTY-EIGHT ENTERED FOR K. OF C. TRACK MEET

List, Announced Yesterday, Does Not Include Field Event Men--Time Trials to be Held Today and Next Week to Determine Selections

The preliminary list of runners who are entered for the K. of C. meet in the Mechanics Building, February 17, was announced yesterday and includes 38 University and Freshman track men. Among the entries for the 40-yard dash is R. H. Howard, a sprinter who left college in his Sophomore year and has now returned as a Junior. He will be a great asset to the squad which is particularly weak in the dashes.

The list does not include the field event men, and it is likely that Coach Martin will not run all the men entered in each event. Time trials will be held today and next week to determine his selections.

An innovation in the program of the Crimson runners this year is a relay race against M. I. T. in which each man will run 390 yards. The Freshmen are scheduled for a similar race against the M. I. T. 1926 men, while the big event of the evening is the long distance jog with the Dartmouth veterans.

Captain J. W. Burke '23, who ran on both the long and short quartets in the B. A. A. games is quite likely to repeat his performance.

The entries are:
