The Squash Racquets Team B will play its last match of the season this afternoon when it meets Team B of the B. A. A. at the University Squash Racquet Courts. Both the teams are out of the running in the Class B League of the Massachusetts League, the championship matches of which will be finished this afternoon.
The University players have already won one match, since J. McC. Roots '25 defeated E. A. Bishop last Wednesday. This afternoon J. J. Glessner '25 will meet F. D. Frazier, R. P. Rose '25 will play C. O. Wellington '07, F. M. Upjohn '25 will meet Arthur Corwin, while in the number five match L. B. Rouillion '24 will play L. B. Harding '08.
Half of the University players were successful in winning their first round matches in the Massachusetts Class B championship tournament. H. P. U. Harris '23 lost to C. P. Clifford '03 three games to one, and D. P. Kingaley 21, of the Lincoln inn Society defeated T. K. Richards '15, the former University football manager, in a hard match 15-5, 14-17, 15-13, 15-12. Besides Kingsley, R. C. Bostwick '23, and G. M. Laimbeer '26 won their matches while P. R. Pease '26 and G. S. Hall 1L were beaten.
Entries for the University tournament close tomorrow afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Squash Racquets Courts. This tournament is open to all members of the University, including Freshmen, and is usually the largest of all the tournaments. D. McK Key '22 won the event last year.
