PLANS SPECIAL SERIES OF SUNDAY MEETINGS

Graduate Schools Society, in Program for Second Half-Year, Also Plans Four Evening Talks by Prominent Men in Next Three Months

The Executive Committee of the Graduate Schools Society will send out today a program of meetings for the second half-year which includes a special series of three consecutive Sunday afternoon meetings as well as four evening talks in the next three months by prominent men at Phillips Brooks House.

At the first of the special series, February 18. President Eliot will talk on "Joy in Work". Professor G. H. Palmer will address the second meeting on February 25 on "The Nature of Forgiveness", while "The Irish Question in Literature" will be the subject of a talk by Dr. S. McC. Crothers '99 on March 4.

Of the opening meetings in Phillips Brooks House at 7.30, the only one occurring this month, February 13, will be addressed by Professor W. M. Davis '69 on "The Mental Processes Employed in Scientific Research". Of the others, Basil King is scheduled for March 22, Professor H. E. Fosdick for April 10, and Professor W. L. Phelps '91 for April 27.

A feature of this month's program is a conference for students interested in teaching in foreign lands on Monday, February 19, at 4.30 o'clock. Four prominent men will speak and answer questions at this time. They are Albert Staub, executive secretary of Robert and Beirut Colleges, Dean H. W. Holmes '03, of the School of Education, A. H. Clark '03, and G. W. Cram '88.
