Hanover, N. H., December 4.--Dartmouth will carry a heavy football schedule next year, for she is elated to meet Harvard, Yale, Brown, and Cornell, according to an announcement made today by the Dartmouth athletic council.
The Green season ends two weeks earlier than usual with the game with Cornell at the Polo Grounds in New York City on November 15. An early close of its season has been deemed advisable because Dartmouth's northern position brings unfavorable football weather here much sooner than such weather comes at the colleges farther south. On account of the early close of the season, a Thanksgiving game with Columbia will not be played.
The complete schedule follows:
September 27, Norwich at Hanover; October 4, McGill at Hanover; October 11, Vermont at Hanover; October 18, Yale at New Haven; October 25, Harvard at Cambridge; November 1, Brown at Hanover; November 8, open; November 15, Cornell at the Polo Grounds.
