WINSOR'S MEN MEET M'GILL ON ARENA ICE

Hockey dopesters will have a first-class opportunity to get a line on the Yale and Princeton teams tonight when the University faces McGill at 8.15 and the Orange and Black meets B. U. in the second half of the double header at the Arena. Wednesday evening the Canadians fought the Elis to a standstill until the latter won by a single goal while the night before the Crimson trounced the Boston team 8 to 1.

The visitors from the northland have been much handicapped this year by the unusually warm weather, which prevented the freezing of their outdoor rink. In order to have two days' practice in their element before starting on the U. S. tour last Monday, the players moved to Ottawa a week ago, where they held their workouts over the week end at an indoor rink.

On Tuesday the New Haven Bears came away with a 5 to 1 victory after the McGill outfit had held them to a tie for the first two periods. On Wednesday the Canadians bowed to Yale, and last night again went down by a long tally before the attack of Boston College.

The McGill team has the services of four veterans this year. Backed up by Captain Dempsey on the defence and Morris in the cage, McGerrigle and McNaughton will be the two seasoned players to flash their offensive in the forward line.
