BASEBALL WILL GET UNDER WAY SOON AFTER VACATION

Special Coach to Have Charge of Pitchers--Plenty of Twirlers to Report

The baseball season will start right after vacation when battery candidates report for practice. There will be, a special coach for the pitchers this year, since it is in that department that the University is most in need of stabilization.

There are, however, severed good prospective pitchers who will probably report for early practice. R. F. Cordingley '25, Phillip Spalding '25, Governor Bemis '24, K. N. Hill '24 and E. F. Herrmann '25, from last year's University squad, and from the last year's Freshmen, D. G. Casto '26, F. S. Moseley '26, K. F. Nash '26, R. W. Puffer '26 and J. C. McGlone '26. For catcher, A. W. Samborski '25, A. D. Hoffman '25, J. J. Maher '26, Thorvald Sanchex '24, and later on, M. A. Cheek '26 are expected to report.
