MONTEUX HAS NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR DAVISON'S MEN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"What Mr. Davison has accomplished in the past four years is marvelous," said Mr. Pierre Monteux, conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, when approached yesterday by a CRIMSON reporter. "I love the singing of the Harvard Glee Club; I think it is the most wonderful chorus in America."

Mr. Monteux had nothing to critize about the Glee Club. "Only the professional critic hears the flaws," he said. "The music-lover hears only what he is listening for the beauty."

This year is Mr. Monteux's eighth and last as Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Within the past two years he has cooperated with the Glee Club on several occasions.
