The Instrumental Clubs are planning an extensive program for the winter concert season, which will begin immediately after the Christmas recess. A spring trip to the South is also being considered.
On January third the club will journey to Fall River where they will play under the auspices of the Harvard Club of that city. The next day, January 4, they will play at Brockton for the benefit of the Harvard Scholarship Fund and on January 25 at New Bedford. This last concert and the one at Fall River will be overnight trips.
In addition to these dates the managers are negotiating for a concert at Sargent for January 15 and with Mt. Ida Seminary for a performance at a date indefinite as yet. Sometime in February the clubs will play in Haverhill, and in March at Winchester.
If present plans work out, the Instrumental Clubs will make a trip of several days in the spring recess. This trip will probably take in several cities of the south such as Baltimore and Washington. Specialty numbers are being prepared by various members of the clubs.
