Non-Partisan Association Will Begin Fall Membership Drive Next Week--J. P. Hubbard to be in Charge

The University branch of the League of Nation's Non-partisan Association will begin its fall drive for membership at a meeting in the Union next Wednesday evening, when Mr. A. G. Alley '01 will speak on "The Fight for the Ruhr, Rhine, and Saar".

Mr. Alley is now connected with the League of Nation's Non-partisan Association of Boston and this fall has given many addresses as its representative Before the war he was a master at Milton Academy. He joined the army as a first lieutenant, went over seas, and after seeing active service in France, returned to Boston and his mastership at Milton. Last year he was studying at the University.

His ability to speak on the situation in Europe has been increased by much recent first hand observation. He spent all of last summer abroad.

Next Wednesday evening before his address. Mr. Alley will be the guest of the Union and of the Harvard branch of the League of Nation's Non-partisan Association at dinner. The membership drive of the association will culminate in Professor Manley O. Hudson's talk at the Union on the evening of December 13.

J. P. Hubbard '26, chairman, and T. L. Eliot '25, vice-chairman, of the local Executive Council, will be in charge of the campaign at the University.
