PFAFFMANN APPOINTED MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE

Planned to Stimulate Tennis Rivalry with Foreign College

When Dwight F. Davis, president of the United States Lawn Tennis Association, created a new committee, the International Intercollegiate Committee, for promoting international tennis rivalry among college players, K.S. Pfaffman '24 was appointed an ex-officio member.

The committee, which has seven regular members, has three Harvard graduates on it.

Of first importance is Mr. Dernon S. Prentice '06, chairman. Mr. Prentice captained a Crimson tennis team in his senior year and also held the University championship. The other two members are R. Norris Williams S. '16 and Holcombe Ward '00, both of whom are former Crimson not stars.
