Six of the 15 Harvard football players who played the first game against Yale in 1875 and won it are living, and several of them are expected to be in the stands this afternoon.

Herbert C. Lieds '77 acting captain of the first game, who scored the first touchdown and kicked the first goal against Yale is expected to be among those who will be present

It was only after a good deal of discussion that this first of the long series of gridiron contests was played. The team however finally journeyed to New Haven and was completely victorious.
