Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The last intensive week of practice for the University football team before it reaches the Yale climax on Saturday began yesterday with signal drills and a long dummy scrimmage.
The chief efforts of the coaches throughout the afternoon were spent in tuning up the first eleven for the Yale encounter. At the beginning of practice, Coach Fisher called out the names of the eleven men who were to compose team A, and throughout the subsequent drills that team was kept intact.
How Team Will Face Yale
The team A lineup was as follows: right end, Hill; right tackle, Eastman; right guard, Hubbard; center, Greenough; left guard, Dunker; left tackle, Evans; left end, Combs; quarter back, Lee; right halfback, Hammond; left halfback, Cheek; full back, Coburn.
This is, with the exception of Lee and Hammond, the team which started against Princeton in the Palmer Stadium two weeks ago. It is probably the team which will start against Yale on Saturday. And so it will be the center of attention in the three practices which remain before the squad leaves for Belmont Springs Country Club.
Yesterday, Team A began with a long signal drill. Plays through the line predominated in the list of formations which the team practiced. There was very little kicking or forward passing. Later the scrubs were called in, and team A went on the defence against a second-team reproduction of nearly all the plays in the Yale repertory.
McGlone and Jenkins Not to Start
Although it is practically assured that yesterday's team A backfield of Lee, Hammond, Check, and Coburn will start on Saturday, McGlone and Jenkins will see service at some time during the game. Both men started against Princeton two weeks ago, and both were carried from the field with injuries during the game. In the past week however, the two backs have been recovering rapidy. Both men were at practice yesterday, in street clothes, but both will discard their canes and report for hard work again this afternoon.
Grew Will be in Shape Saturday
Others on the injured squad are also reported to be recovering rapidly. Grew will be able to substitute at guard on Saturday if necessary, and Kernan will be available again at center. Trainer Donovan reports that when the squad runs onto the field on Saturday every member will be in condition to play.
