When the entries closed for the University squash tournament last night a record total of 97 men had signed up as compared to 52 last year. The drawings for the tournament will be made today and the preliminary rounds will begin on Monday, November 5.. All the members of the University team and the Lincoln Inn the team of the Law School have signed up, including W. P. Dixon '25, captain of the University team, and Channing Wakefield 3L., number one Law School player. W. D. Macpherson Sp., squash champion of Cambridge University, England, and G. D. Debevoise '26, winner of the Freshman tournament last year, are also entered.
In the first rounds of the tournament the matches will be for two out of three games, but in the semi-finals and finals three out of five games will be required. A silver medal will be presented to the winner.
