Changes and improvements in the Union have been discussed and among these proposals was one to discard the progressive and conservative clubs and substitute the Oxford Union system of having members sit to the right or the left of the chairman as they support or oppose the question at hand. Another change which may be made is that of electing a permanent undergraduate president. In the past the Union has been conducted by the respective wing leaders acting together with their executive committees.
