This evening at 7.30 o'clock at the University Observatory, Mr. Leon Campbell will give a lecture on "The Variation of Stars" at the second of a series of public astronomical lectures, which the Observatory is giving during the coming season. Mr. Leon Campbell has been an observer on the Observatory staff for many years, and his specialty has been variable stars. His address will be short in the weather is clear enough for stellar observing, for it is the aim of these open meetings to give as much opportunity as possible to those present to use the telescope.

Although the lectures are free and open to the public, tickets are required for admission. These may be obtained by telephoning the Observatory, University 0390, between 9 and 11 o'clock this morning.

The Observatory has two entrances, one on Concord Avenue, opposite Buckingham Street and the other on Garden Street opposite Linnaean Street.
