PROMINENT ENGLISH EDUCATOR IS LIBERAL CLUB SPEAKER

Mrs. Franklin to Address Open Meeting Today on British Education

Mrs. E. F. Franklin, honorary organizing secretary of the Parents National Educational Union, is the midweek speaker of the Liberal Club for this week. At 1.15 o'clock today she will address the Club members and any students of the University who care to come, on the subject "Current, Movements in English Education."

Mrs. Franklin is the daughter of the first Lord Swathling of England and sister to The Honorable Edwin Montagu, late Secretary of State for India. She has spoken on educational work in all the leading cities of Europe and has been active in such work for 30 years.

The secretary of the Liberal Club yesterday announced that Dr. A. E. Morgan, president of Antioch College, will address the Club members November 20.

At an election of officers recently, the Club members elected E. G. Wesson '25, chairman of the administration committee, Sterling Dow '25, chairman of the entertainment committee, and N. E. Himes '24, member at large of the executive committee.
