MANY HUNGRY MOUTHS IN UNIVERSITY, FIGURES SHOW

Bursar Reports Freshman Dormitories Lead With 638

Large enrollments in each of the University Dining Halls were shown yesterday by figures given out at the Bursar's office.

The Freshman Dining Halls head the list with 638 boarders. Over 450 men are enrolled at the Memorial Cafeteria, while 365 men are served daily at the Memorial Dining Hall.

At the Union, it was learned, 300 more meals were served during the first week this year than during the corresponding period last year.

Accurate figures for the membership of the Union will not be obtainable until after its closing to non-members on October 7. Already 594 new members have been enrolled, and of last year's membership of 1500, it is expected that about 1000 will continue, making the total membership nearly the same as that of 1922.
