NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The final preliminary trials for the University Glee Club close this evening, when all candidates in the University who have not yet tried out will be tested at 7 o'clock in Sever 11. On Monday and Thursday, the first two evenings for the trials, 180 men, a record number, appeared. Of these the Glee Club expects to retain 115. The number of men yet to be accepted is not limited: any man who shows promise by his singing the scale will be retained.

After the vocalists have been tried this evening, Dr. A. T. Davison '06 will test all candidates for the assistant-accompanist position.
