NAME HOWE AND MAHER FOR 1926 PRESIDENCY

WILL INAUGURATE SYSTEM OF POSTAL BALLOTING

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Nominations for the Sophomore class officers were made last night by the Freshman officers of the class of 1926. Election will be made by postal ballot in ten days, after the time for nominations by petition has elapsed.

The complete list of nominations follows:

President

N. S. Howe

J. J. Maher

Vice-President

J. W. Adie

F. S. Mosely

Secretary-Treasurer

F. L. Barton

E. W. Martin

Richard Trimble, Jr;

Student Council Member

J. A. Halstead

W. C. Ladd

W. I. Nichols

Additional nominations may be made for any of the above offices by petition, each petition to be signed by 35 members of the class. Such petitions may be handed in to M. A. Cheek '26 at Claverly 13 before November 1.

The old method of balloting in Sever Hall will be discarded this year in favor of the postal ballot. A similar change was made in electing the senior members to the student council, and in the forth coming elections for Junior Class officers.

By this system, each member of the Sophomore class will receive a ballot in the mail on November 4. On this ballot will be printed the final list of nominations for each of the class offices.

Each voter must sign his name on the return envelope so that it may be checked upon the class list. No signatures will be placed on the ballots.
